Is an image good enough?


Is an image good enough? Can it reproduce a feeling all by itself?

Carlos Herra seems to think different, his photography is good by itself but when he combines it with sharp and precise phrases and good typography it seems to give them more power more meaning.

I’m a firm believer than a great picture doesn’t need anything else and it’s probably that this technique just work for him, for his image, but the fact is that it works at least for the images below.

100 minimalism ads


I’ve been seeing logos, packages, flyers, etc go minimalism. Now is the time for ads too.

A minimalism ad is concrete and gets to the idea really quickly, and mostly of the time they look really good too. But when you have to create them, is one of the most difficult ones. Because you have to focus in one principal idea and have to find something, and image, a word that reflects that idea and you cannot use anything else.

I’m trying to create an ad for magnetiKmania so I was looking for some inspiration when I found these:
