Colours by Andrea D’Aquino

29 year old Italian photographer Andrea D’Aquino works between Barcelona, Hamburg and Stuttgart, and has been shooting professionally for about 10 years now. His work has been featured in publications such as QVEST, Vs Magazine, SCHÖN! Magazine, and Hypebeast Magazin.

His pictures are full of colour, perfectly in place, stunning and so sharp and clear, I love them.

Daily Inspiration – Water

It’s been raining for some days in New York, not much but there’s water everywhere. And it got me thinking about underwater photography, I always wanted to try it, even if it’s only putting a doll inside a bowl. But you always have the problem of the glass between the camera and the subject.

So I was doing some reasearch and I found a couple of great underwater photography.

The First series is from one of the most elaborate sets in the world, British film production company Pinewood Studio where they capture breathtaking shots in a tank filled with 1.2 million liters (317,000 gallons) of water. The underwater stage, which opened in 2005, has been used for a huge number of TV commercials, music videos and films, including The Bourne Ultimatum, Atonement, Elizabeth and Casino Royale.

Reese Witherspoon for Vogue

For the May 2011 issue of Vogue, photographer Peter Lindbergh pulled out all the stops, bringing one of today’s biggest modern day movie stars to the circus!

Promoting her new movie, Water for Elephants where Reese acts with Robert Pattinson.

Although the light and the colors of the images are not that bad, Peter Lindbergh always makes a good job with lights.

Tainted Love

I was looking for some daily inspiration around the web and found the last work of an amazing photographer: Mario Peña.

He created this series, Tainted Love, after a year of his debut.

– The inspiration for the story comes from two sources, an interesting love story that I had in NY, and the song “If I Had A Heart” by Fever Ray.
