Air Mail

A couple of weeks ago I discovered a web page called www.redbubble.com . In this page photographers can upload their photos and have their own profile to show their pictures, but the best is that you can order prints of the photos. They have a a large variety of formats, you only have to choose the picture you like and the format. You pay and give them the directions. That’s it!and in a couple of weeks you would recieve your order.
I order 4 postcards of my images for seeing the quality of the printing and how all works. Today arrived and I really love them!

Now I’m gonna be able to send postcards with my own images!

Terrassa

As every tuesday we walked around Terrassa trying to photograph our Visual Culture assigment (today was  scale contrast and colours contrast). Normally we did the assigment and the pictures doesn’t worth for anything more, but today was so sunny and the sky was so blue and everything was so colourful and beautiful that I tried to do something more and I ended with some worthful pictures.

MAC can fail

Been playing with the Mac camara while I was waiting for the Bridge works, people say that mac never fail and I cannot disagree more! The last three days I was working with and 22 inch Imac and I had to restart it a couple of times because the bridge just felt down and Mac doesn’t have the command Contr+Alt+Supr.

So there I was waiting for Bridge to install again…and well what can I say they effects are pretty funny!

I am missing something?

They are quite stupid but it was funnier than I though using that camaral. What really impress me was the background change, the software ask you to get out of the frame and he remember the background so when you come back the background is changed. As you see it have some mistakes but it was better than I though.

Sometimes I forget how fast technology advance!

Taye

Been walking yesterday around Terrassa and found this amazing kid, Taye. He looked so beautiful in his little scooter that I needed to ask his mum to take a picture!

Recorriendo Barcelona

I went to a photo trip two starurdays ago with guille and  Oscar Rocca , a great photographer that owns the most incredible collection of pinhole, polaroids and film camaras I ever seen!

We spend one saturday taking pictures in different places of Barcelona and he bought me this amazing blue evil!

Oscar took a picture of guillermo and my shoes with and instant pinhole and I took a picture of the picture with guillermo shoes and a plastic we used for playing.

Puigcerda

Went to ski two weeks ago during easter holidays, the first day we made some rural tourism in Puigcerda, Cerdanya Spain, we cross the border to France and finished in Andorra.

I took several photos with my fisheye film camara.

El Cairo

I was travelling a while last february strating from Greece and finishing in Egypt.

Maybe is the fact that the city is in the middle of the desert, maybe is their culture or their food, i don’t know it exactly but I really enjoyed! It was such an amazing landscape.

Here are some of the pictures I took, more in no time.

I found this amazing fallen tree in the middle of the street. I just felt in love with its colour.

Can you see the pyramids?

I went to Egypt 4 years ago with my dads and I remembered that the pyramids of Gizeh werw in the middle of the desert, but now the city has almost eaten them. I found it so amazing that I wasn’t even able to see the three pyramids in the horizon.

Found this amazing tree next to our hotel, it was standing in a round in the middle of the road and I just wasn’t able to took my eyes off it. It has so much magic and power!

Found this amazing camel near the Gizeh pyramids, he was so cool!

While Guille was walking around and looking at some craves I just sit near him and took photos.  The best it was that he started to look at me and say things in some amazing faces!

Books

A couple of weeks ago I did a fashion editorial for a bookclub in the United States.

The editorial was meant to be a number of pictures with a female model and books. She was supposed to interact with the books not just in the normal way like reading, but each one of the image has to have the books and she with a fashion outfit. An each one must be different.

We made the editorial in an urban space in Barcelona, a square  near the beach. We had the common issue of photographing outdoors: the sun, in some images it was too hard, in anothers too hide and of course after 5 o’clock of the afternoon it was gone. We also have trouble with all the material because we had to let it in the middle of the street, and some issues about where the model would change and make-up. We’re lucky in that aspect because a restaurant in the same square let us to use the invalid toilet as a make-up changing room.

At the end the session was really good and I really enjoyed.

I took mostly of the photos helped by David Company. The model, Anna Alsius, I already worked with her and is always a pleasure to do it. The same thing happens with the make-up artist, Carmina Camps. I’m always happy to work with such a great group of people!
